Who we are

SLANZ is a Wellington-based, non-profit, non-political incorporated society established 2004, dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating Sri Lankan culture, traditions, and heritage while fostering a strong and connected community across Aotearoa New Zealand.

As a volunteer-led organisation, SLANZ relies on the dedication and generosity of its members to create a vibrant and inclusive community.

What we do

Through cultural, educational, and community-focused programmes and events, the Association fosters community connections, supports youth development, and helps Sri Lankans stay connected to their heritage while contributing to a vibrant, inclusive, and culturally enriched New Zealand society.

Our cultural workshops and programmes promote cultural awareness, performing arts, youth development, and community engagement.
